WavePad by NCH is a professional audio editing application. With this program users can record, edit and enhance audio of any kind. Reduce noise, split tracks, add effects, record from input, batch process files, amplify and perform other professional actions over the sound.
Wavepad supports WAV, MP3, VOX, GSM, RA, AU, AIF, FLAC, and OGG. When editing audio files the users can delete, cut, copy and paste parts of recordings, then add effects such as echo, equalization, amplification, noise reduction, reverb, reverse, and several others.
The program features a free sound effect and music library, and batch processing to apply effects and/or convert unlimited number of files as a single function. Furthermore the users will find audio restoration features, spectral analysis (FFT), text-to-speech and voice changer.
New in this version is the VST plug-in integration to access and add different tools and effects. Also it is now compatible with Windows 7, and the CD ripper adds the 'ultrafast' rip mode and automatic music info database lookup. The Recorder now also supports auto-trim and voice activated recording.
